Bonding Time with Ezann
Our Maid went back for holiday on 4 April. Intially we thought we gonna have a hard time handling Ezann but to our surprise Ezann didn't look for our helper. She occasionally will ask where's Wiwik but after explaining to her, she stopped asking and seems to understand that she went back to visit her son.
What we find most hectic is having to do housework and attending to her. In the past we only need to spend quality time with her but now both me & Ben need to share the load of cleaning the house. Now we realised being a helper is really not that easy. Every Morning, have to get Ezann to brush her teeth and then clean her face. She's still not really brushing her teeth. She simply put the toothbrush in her mouth and just touched on the 2 front teeth. Sometimes biting on the toothbrush if not she playfully put onto her tongue. *argggh* But at least I tell myself I must let her get into the routine that its a must to brush teeth and clean face in the morning. I am beginning to feel like I am a full time housewife hahahha
The day is quite routine. Put the clothes into washing machine, prepare the ingredients for her lunch, wash the milk bottles, feed her cerals, sit down with her for a while...read to her or play with her whatever she likes. Then 11 start cooking her lunch. She will start to nap around 1 till about 2-3pm. Was hectic but we having lots of bonding time with her and we find it very enriching.
Thanks to my Dear Hubby. I never seen him so involved with Ezann and housework before. He can now bathe Ezann alone, play with her. He even helped me pack the house and hang out the clothes. In the night when Ezann goes to sleep, he will help me tidy up the house especially putting back ezann's toys in place. In the past I never dare trust Ezann with him alone but now I simply can. I think he can handle the job better than me...HA!
We brought Ezann out a few times in these 2 weeks, went shopping malls and on 13 April, we brought her to the Zoo together with 2 GUGU, my MIL and FIL. She can now recognise Elephant, Lion, Tiger, Giraffes and Tigers. Too bad we went quite late so we didn't have time exploring the Zoo but managed to catch 2 Shows - Elephants and Seals. (forgot the title of the show..oops).

Sweet Saturday
We had a great time today, after Ethan's 1 mth Baby Shower at SIM Lounge. Ethan's got a lot of hair and his nose is very sharp. Am sure he's gonna be a handsome prince when he grows up. Met up with some ex colleagues and friends as well. This baby shower created a chance for us to catch up with one another's life.
Since Jacob Ballas Children's Garden is quite near to SIM, we went over there for a while. Fortunately its a while cos it started raining when we were halfway there. its quite a nice place for kids and parents to roam around. Think there's a lot of places to explore but too bad we not able to complete it due to the bad weather. The thunder was scary too. It just kept on "blastering", yes I call that blastering cos was really loud and I see some kids hiding below the tables..hahaha so cute. Luckily Ezann was calm and cool.
Met up with Serene, Lilian and MIL at Taka after which we headed to Aunt Sharon's place for dinner. Was a great evening. Not too hectic and tiring for all of us :)

Splendid Saturday
Lee Family went Penang Hawker Foodfare Buffet at York Hotel today with MIL, Brent & Cindy. I felt its a little pricey but the food was not too bad. Food wasn't as tasty as I had in few years back though. I remembered the Penang Char Kway Teow had Chinese Sausage but I there's none to be found, is it the economic downturn that's why they cutting cost??
After that, went Far East and bought my scandals. I saw Yi Ling wearing a nice scandals in office and she told me she got it fm Trendy Zone and fortunately they still have my size hee. *So happy* After that we brought Wiwik to Toys R Us to get her remote toy car as she's going back for holiday soon. At the same time we bought this Rocking Horse for Ezann. She was having so much fun with the horse at Toys R Us that we decide to buy for her :) Next we had dinner at Big Eater near Simpan Bedok, they specialist in Crabs. Food was medicore, but the crab was nice though. We ordered Salted Egg with Crab but after eating it, I felt super sinful. Imagine how much Cholestrol I swallowed in!!

Song Of The Sea
Dar brought us to Sentosa to watch Song of The Sea. I haven't been to Sentosa for a long time and there seems to have a lot of changes which I could hardly recognise already. Too bad we went in the night, if not we would have more time to drive around the island.
The queue was super long, while queing a group of Japanese girls saw Ezann and they started saying hi to her. Ezann was so shy she quickly cling on to me. I think I have to let her attend play group soon to overcome her shyness. Hope she will get to meet more friends and not feel so shy when meeting strangers.
The show was not too bad. There's lots of visual effects. Some of it made Ezann quite scared and we have to hold her tight. When the visual effect showed the fish talking, she goes "hello fish"...and she clapped her hands when the performers were singing and dancing. Glad she enjoyed the show and did not cry when there's several loud sound.

Monkey See, Monkey Do
Am sure you heard of the saying "Monkey see, Monkey do". Thus I believe its very important how we parents behave in front of our kids. I start to realise this when 1 day I heard Ezann say "OOoooorrrrrr" with 1 finger pointing at us. Everytime when she accidentally dropped something we would go "Oooooorr" in front of her, guessed she must have learnt this from us.
So parent's lets try to set good examples for our kids....Yeah!

Update on Past Months
Hi Ya everyone...been a long time since my last blog. Been so lazy these days and I will tell you why in due course. Chinese New Year was great, brought Ezann for visiting. Many thanks to those Aunties & Uncles who gave her red packets :) Besides that lately Ezann had her hair trim again by my mum. Her feet were also bitten by some "god know what insects". It was so bad that doc wants us to bandage her feet to prevent her from scratching it. The bites seems to have bubbles on them, luckily Ezann didn't scratch a lot and during those days, she was practically at home most of the time. Here's some photos for the past few weeks.
