Baby Ezann

Christmas Eve
Today is Christmas Eve but early in the morning, I heard Ezann coughing away. I was hesitating if to go to work or should I bring her to Doc and stay home look after her. Fortunately Ben volunteered to bring Ezann to the doc. Its all my fault, I think Ezann caught the flu bug from me. I had sore throat the day before and its still sore.
We had Xmas lunch in the office today. And everyone wondered if we gonna have half day but sad to day, its a working day for all of us. I consider myself lucky if I can leave at 5:30 man. I started to feel feverish around 4 but dare not ask permission to leave early, so sad right. I just pray hard that we can leave at 5:30 and luckily god answered my prayer. Went to see the doc and slept around 10+. Poor Ezann was coughing away and it had gotten worse. Her face went red trying to cough out the phlegm I think. I feel so helpless and kept blaming myself for passing the bug to her. And its the first time, Ezann didn't sleep with me ( i mean same room). Fearing that I may pass my bug to her, I ask my maid to take care of her. I didn't sleep well too cos I kept waking up to go take a look at Ezann. I can still hear her coughing from my room. She also didn't finish her milk. Her normal intake is 150ml now she only drinks at most 90ml. Guese she must be feeling moody like mummy.
Oh god, pls bless Ezann and mummy to get well and this shall be my Christmas wish for yr 2007.

Xmas Party @ Aunt's Sharon's place
We had a advance Xmas Party at Aunt Sharon's place today. There's lots of goodies like Sashimi, Turkey stuffed with Baked Rice, Honey Baked Ham, Mussels, Anderson Ice Cream, Fried Mee Siam, Poh Piah specially made by Annie, Sherpard Pie which I ordered fm my sister, fruits salads, mushroom soup, home made garlic bread and Awfully Chocolate Cake...Hiazz...too bad we didn't manage to finish the food cos Ezann was quite cranky and I wasn't feeling well too. Luckily I felt better after taking the Panadol Cold and Flu Remedy. I wish I will get well soon cos I can't afford to be sick for the next few days its month end closing.
I feel so sad we have to go off early fm the celebration. When most people arrived, we have to go but guess Ezann is more important. Can't bear to see her cry and let her feel uncomfortable while we enjoy ourselves right. Its really sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice.
So nice of Annie and Da Gu Gu to have bought Ezann 1st Xmas gift. Wonder what they are..hee...guess we will just have to wait till Xmas Day then...

Milestones
Haven't been updating my blog since last wk. Been so busy at work and tired after work. So before I forget, I better write down the events
Ezann can flip
===============
Finally Ezann can to turn 1 side on her own. The first few times her turning was quite slow and she wailed when she didn't manage to make the full turn and that was like last week and this wk her turn was really fast. I just put her on her back and within mins she just flipped. So cute. Gosh..she's growing so fast!
Presents
===========
We went town on Thursay and Ben bought a book title "Big Book of Rhymes" for Ezann. Actually I think its more for me so I can read to her precious daughter! When we open up the book for Ezann she looked as if she's really reading and wanting to turn the pages.

Giggle Giggle
I have to show you this video. This is our first time hearing Ezann giggle sooo much. Initially we thought we wanted to put her on stomach to make her learn to turn sideway. But somehow she seem very contented in this postion so I started baby talk to her and she started giggling away. And yes there's more giggle at the background cos all of us, my mum, sis and hubby were so amused by her giggling that we can't stop laughing too.

Mummy is a Photographer
This weekend I took many photos of Ezann. Never took so many pictures of anything in my whole life till Ezann is born. Probably this is very typical of new parents or maybe could be the Blogger fever where you can take pics and video and download conveniently.
We brought Ezann to Parkway yesterday, shopped a little and headed to Aunt Sharon's place and today went to Cher's baby shower. Baby Ruben is so cute, I can't really tell who he looks like but Cher say most people say he looked like Daddy. Well I guess the look will change again after some time. When Ezann was born, many people said she looked like Ben but now most said look like me. See for yourself k. Here's some photos I took for her this wkend. BTW, the shoe and clothes I ordered online shopping fm Gymboree finally arrived. I love the shoe and can't wait to see it on little Ezann's feet.

Leg Exercise
Everytime when we carry Ezann now, she likes to jerk her legs as if trying to stand so now and then we will hold her standing up position and let her do some exericse and she seems to enjoy it
Then as usual we tried to make her smile and hope we can capture it on video but mission failed. Check out the video and see how hard we all trying to do that. Fortunately we managed to catch her smile when she's doing her leg exercise.

Ezann and her two clips

Finally its weekend
I am so happy month end has ended. My first week of work after 12 wks of maternity leave is horrible. My engine can't start and I regret returning to work on the last week of month end. Can't seem to remember a lot of processes and I miss my Ezann so much. at work.
Anyway glad its the start of a new month now, which means I can go back on time and play with Ezann. Today as usual we went Aunt Sharon's place. I dressed her in red t-shirt from Pumpkin Patch which Nai Nai has bought for her and I think she look good in red. Probably she's fair and oh yes it matches the clip I bought for her too.
