Festive Mood
We joined Lilian, Serene, FIL and Auntie Hong to Taka today. Ben dropped us off first to Isetan Scotts. Went to buy new pacifier for Ezann since she's going to be 6 months soon. The print is so cute, all along the one I had are all FOC,didn't know actually they are quite costly. Also bought her a new bottle for drinking water since now Ezann started taking solid. Love the cutie prints on the bottles!
Forgot there'a Hokkaido and Michinoku Fair at the Basement Isetan's Supermarket. I bought Potato Croquette and Lilian bought me Jap noodles. While I was buying potato Croquette, this Japanese lady came to play with Ezann..she keep on saying Kawaii neh...kekeke and asked another lady to ask me how many months is Ezann. And strangely when she talked to Ezann, she responded with goo and ga and smiled to her. Could it be she understand Japanese? hmmm....
While Ezann was having her milk, I went to buy Green tea ice-cream..yummy yummy. Hope I can go to the fair again next wk!! After Scotts we went to Takashimaya, there's an event "Festive Celebration at the Square" in Taka Square, once stepped in, I can feel the CNY mood. There's lots of goodies, lots of samples to try. Not just local products but they also brought in Japanese goodies too which varies from fruits to desserts.
11 more days to CNY!! Have you guys finished all yr CNY shopping?

Ezann's New Game
Ezann has a new game recently and that is she loves to blow bubbles, she blows them sometimes when I sing to her and also when I put pacifier in her mouth before I rock her to sleep. Even during feeding solid foods, when the spoons goes into her mouth, she starts to blow bubble.... sometimes dunno if to scold her or laugh at her. Browsed through her CNY clothes today and realised she has more tops than bottom..hahahha....hopefully she can still wear the pants during CNY.
We went Kallang Airport for lunch this afternoon, took "Lao Fu Zi" Fried Kway Teow and also Hokkien mee. The queue was so long but I personally don't like it, they don't serve with the typical sambal chilli but only big cut chillies. Heard they used Claim stock to fried the mee. Sorry but its not to my liking at all. After lunch, we head to "Kwang Xiang Tai" to get "lou Hei" ingredients. Really interesting, usually you only get to see the whole package but over there, you can get to buy individual pack like if you prefer more Keropok then you buy more packets to dump into yr long hei. I bought 1 set which can serve 3 times, hopefully will get to serve my colleages who are planning to come to my plc for CNY visiting.
Brent and Cindy had invited us to their house for steamboat dinner. Its for Brent's birthday celebration. Besides steamboat, we had sashimi and also Awfully Chocolate Cake. We also did something stupid today, started of when Aunt Sharon asked me and Annie to pose cutie looks when taking pics, then Lilian said she wanted to show us something funny so we followed her out and she told her there's a mattress in this particular lift and said we could posed with it! It was a hilarious experience, didn't know Lilian and Aunt Peggy and be so sporty! Wanna laugh when I see the pictures.

Ezann's Chestdrawer Finally Up

Dar finally fixed up Ezann's chestdrawer! Took about 3 hours to do it. Before mum came to look after Ezann while I helped Dar,I had to carry Ezann and watched him, at times I have to put Ezann on the bed to assist him. While doing this I saw Ezann looking very interested and I took some pics and videos. When mum arrived, she played Sneezing game with Ezann, mum pretended to sneeze and Ezann loves it, she will laugh eact time when my mum sneeze. Check out the clip.
In the evening we went Beng Hiang Restaurant at Amoy street for dinner to celebrate mum's birthday. Beng Hiang serve authentic Hokkien Restaurant so the foods we ordered are the all time favourtie ones like Hokkien Mee, Fish Maw Soup, Kong Ba Bao (in hokkien), Wu Xiang and Hei Chou (in hokkien), fried chicken dipped with salt, Fried Oyster and I like this the best kai lan fried with Bian Yu, it makes the vege more fragrant and I personally think its quite special, I have never tried this kind of combination before.
On our way home, we walked past many nice shops in Amoy street,saw this particular one very cute and I took a pic. On our way home, Dad drove past Chinatown. The decor is up but I don't find it as attractive as the past few years. But nevertheless I still would like to come down one of these days to get myself soak in CNY atmosphere.

Far East Shopping Centre
Its Saturday again, we brought Ezann to Far East shopping Centre today together with Serence, MIL and met up with Lilian and Sherry there. They started shopping around 12+ and by the time we met, their hands were carrying lots of shopping bags. We had Hainanese Chicken Rice on the 5th floor and later shopped a bit. I bought a jacket at My Room boutique but kindda regret it. Too bad they do not allow any exchange. I find it so ridiculous. What if its meant to be a gift for my gf but doesn't suit her so she can't change to another design?
After we finish shopping, we had dessert at this store called Dessert Solution. The dessert were quite nice and there's a variety to choose from. We ordered a few like Mango Sago and Pomelo, Colourful Balls which consist of Strawberry, Pearls, Antachee and Mango, Durian and Mango Pastry which I can't remember the exact name. Wiwik ordered Glutinous Rice with Sago and they drew a STAR with coconut milk on top during serving. Niceee!!
Went Aunt Sharon's place for a while as Dar got Company D&D at 7pm. Ben's purpose to Aunt Sharon's place was mainly to eat his "clam with Garlic soaked in Dark Soya Sauce" with porridge. Cindy and Brent came too and Cindy took a pic with my little Ezann.
Wiwik showed me how Ezann kissed her..mine oh mine..she's so forceful!! For a while I wondered if Wiwik's face is clean...but feel so bad if I were to say this cos she's the one who help me take care of Ezann most of the time and I should be happy that she's so affectionate and loving to Ezann. Sometimes I tell myself I have to let go a bit, helpers are human after all.

Ezann had her hair trimmed today
I am on half day PM off today and my parents came to pick me up with a surprise guest and that is my gal Ezann. She's sooo adorable! Everytime when I see her especially after a long day (yes 1/2 day is long hour to me!)I will grit my teeth, I realised I have this habit when I see cute things and I also realised I got it from my mum cos when she sees Ezann, its the same!
I thought Ezann looked slightly different when I first saw her till mum told me she trimmed her hair. Wow!..I thought was quite a "neat" job. Though she's not professional, she managed to give her hair some pattern. The side maintain while she cut her hair in wispy manner (trying my best to describe). She's becoming very responsive these days, entertaining us with her giggle, Arr and oooo. How I wish I can understand baby talk, that would be fun ya!!

Solid Food
Solid Food

Ezann had started taking solid food since last week end but only manage to capture the video today. She loves the Sweet Fruit and vegetables flavor. She will get very excited when she takes her solid food. Leg kicking and hands all over the place.
Daddy was feeding her and her hands went to grab the spoon and the next thing we knew was her rocker and t-shirt were stained with the pureen. So I decided to hold on to her hands while daddy continue to feed her. At the end of the feeding believe you can imagine how her face look like.
Ikea and Courts

My helper Wiwik has been urging me to get a chest drawer for Ezann cos the current one is too full and she don't have space to put Ezann's things. So we decided to go Ikea and Courts to check out the chest drawers. Bought one finally fm Ikea but yet to fix it up. Daddy promise to fix it by Thursday cos he's too tired after his soccer game. Will post the pic later when its done. When we walked past the mirror, notice Ezann likes to see herself and she will start smiling and making little noises when she saw herself. Manage to catch that shot.
And guess who I saw in Courts today? Met Cher Heong, Rick and their prince Ruben today. Ruben looked very different from his 1 month. He's fairer now and I notice he got very long and curled lashes...so charming....

Paragon
We went Paragon today. Its the first time time we brought Ezann shopping in town and Aunt Sharon wanted to get CNY clothe for Ezann. She's always buying her gifts and Ezann is really fortunate to have a doting "Yee Poh" and of cos not forgetting all the Gu Gus! I thought I can shop for my CNY clothing for the same time but its really tough with my gal around. Though with helper and Ben around, I still can't shop in peace. Anyway since I will be on leave this Thur and Fri, I guess I will wait until then. These days, Ezann seems to enjoy car ride than before, she seems to like the view outside the window and also when she's bored she can watch DVD in the car, that helps to keep her entertain sometime. Thanks to Serene. MIL said Serene upgraded her car to MPV cos of Ezann so that the car can accomodate more people and all can go shopping together!

Ezann likes to be carried and walk around
Ezann is just like mummy. Can't sit still and likes to go out. Whenever we carry her and sit on the sofa, she will make noise and will only stop when we get up and walk. When she's younger, its not too bad but she has been getting heavier and its too straining on our arms.
We got this baby carrier from Joanne before I gave birth and thanks to her its makes things easier for us and our helper. Ben tried this on and walked around the house hahah look so cute...and he even acted like a drummer pretending Ezann is like a drum hanging right in front of him!

This is the first time we brought Ezann out for so long. We went out around 10am and then went for Dim Sun at Chin Swee Road at this authentic Chinese Restaurant called Hong Xin. I loved the ambience cos you seldom find waitresses pushing the cart with Dim Sum nowadays. However find the food not as fantanstic as before. At one point, Nai Nai was talking to Ezann and it was as if she understands what she's trying to say. She kept looking at Nai Nai (see the clip) without blinking.
After Dim Sum, we took a car ride to Tekka Market to get some crabs. Thank God Ezann didn't cry or turn cranky, she slept well in the car and after that we went to Aunt Sharon's place to deposit the crab for BBQ in the night.
The last destination of the day with Ezann was to Parkway. Wanted to get some CNY clothes for her and only managed to get 1 pants fm Mothercare. Quite nice I thought cos it can be worn 2 ways. Either fold it up or fold it down when she's older. And I love the little details on the pants. Saw another dress at Isetan but Daddy says Ezann's too young to wear dress and also she's gotten too many clothes :(

Ezann Singing?
These few days we realised Ezann "talks" a lot. Especially this morning while I was lying on the bed with Ezann she started her talk again. And then I realised when I started singing to her, she seems like she's responding and the video that I capture made her look as if she's singing along with me. Really amazing.

End of 2007..welcome 2008
For the past few days, I had been working late. Coming back on Sat and Sun and today no exception and for 3 years I have been celebrating New Year's Eve in IBM.
All of us are all rushing like mad to load all the big deals and trying our best to finish up all the orders on hand. Some finished earlier than the rest and some work till the very last min.
Luckily Ben can go off early and glad he can celebrate New Year's Eve with our precious Ezann. But of cos doubt Ezann did stay up till 12am.
Finally 12am struck and everyone was relieved. Started bringing out wines and champagne for New Year's celebration. Here's are some photos we took in the office. Let's all say goodbye to 2007 and welcome 2008.

Ezann turn 4 months old today. Unfortunately we didn't get to go out cos both Ezann and myself still sick. I think its best that we rest and spend quality at home especially now that I went back to work, I seldom have time for her. By the time I reach home, only manage to play with her for like 2 hrs then she goes to sleep.
Ezann had 2 Christmas gifts. One from Da Gu and 2nd one from Annie. Guess what Da Gu gave Ezann? Its a two piece swim suit..soooo adorable! I cam imagine Ezann wearing that...hmm but its look a bit small on her. Wonder she can still wear when she's ready for her 1st swim! Aunt Annie gave her a Playskool...Ezann gonna love it I am sure. Oh yes Linda made me a very nice 2008 calendar. She went to retrieve some of my pictures fm my blog and even had those birthday, wedding and Ezann Birth day pics put according to the months eg I had a pic with me blowing candle and she put this pic on my birthday month. She really got "heart" man. I love this gift a lot. Thanks Linda!!
Gosh... good time pass so fast. Tomorrow is another working day for mummy and daddy.
